Produced at Tenuta Montenisa, the wine shows the rich and multifaceted personality of Chardonnay grapes fermented entirely on their own.
The whole bunches of Chardonnay, picked entirely by hand, were given a soft pressing. The must went directly into temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for the initial fermentation. In the spring of the following year, the wine underwent a second d fermentation, this time in bottle, remaining in contact with its fine lees for an extended period.
The pleasant complexity of Donna Cora makes it particularly suited as an accompaniment for fish-based aperitifs, oven-roasted fish, and white meat.
The ideal serving temperature is between 45 and 49 °Fahrenheit (7 to 9 ° Centigrade).
Donna Cora offers a brilliant yellow color to the eye. Its foam is creamy, with a delicate and persistent perlage. The nose is refined with pleasant floral sensations. The palate shows much finesse and balance, characterized by great elegance.
